We believe young people should be at the heart of the work we create. We value their ideas, individuality and perspectives, creating an environment where they are listened to, encouraged to contribute and given the confidence to find their own artistic voice.

Ambitious

We believe young people deserve the opportunity to take part in work of genuine artistic ambition. We create high-quality opera experiences that challenge and inspire our young performers, while giving them the support and confidence to develop as artists.

 

Collaborative

We believe opera is inherently collaborative. Our young performers work alongside professional singers, musicians and creative practitioners, experiencing first-hand how different disciplines come together to create a production and learning from one another throughout the process.

 

Accessible

We believe opera should be open to young people from all backgrounds and levels of experience. Previous experience of opera or performance should not be a prerequisite for taking part, and we aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment in which every young person can contribute, develop and discover what they are capable of.
